Located at the bustling heart of the Clerkenwell area, The Rosebery Aparthotel is only a stone’s throw from many of London’s foremost business and leisure hubs. So if you’re after a relaxing stroll, a big dinner out or a night at the theatre, here are our top five things to do within 20 minutes of The Rosebery.

British Museum

15 minutes on foot

From ancient Egyptian sarcophagi to lost 19th-century Japanese texts to contemporary sculptures, the British Museum is an odyssey through time quite unlike any other. A short walk from Euston and King’s Cross stations, the Bloomsbury staple is older than the United States and has never ceased to amaze over the years.

Drummond Street Indian Restaurants

15 minutes by car or 20 minutes by tube

Drummond Street is a treasure trove of delicious, authentic south Indian food. Just around the corner from Euston, it’s hard to go wrong when it comes to choosing where to eat – but we recommend the all-vegetarian buffets at lunchtimes, which multiple places offer for around £6.50. And if you’re looking to try something new, the dessert shops are packed with small south Asian delicacies that you have more than likely never come across before.

Regent’s Canal

20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car

Don’t tell anyone, but the Thames has a secret younger sibling. It’s the Regent’s Canal, and it makes for one of the most peaceful walking spots in London. Join the canal on Vincent Terrace and enjoy a hassle-free stroll up towards an area of King’s Cross that has blossomed in recent years – perfect for an evening dinner out.

BRICK LANE

15 minutes by car

If you’re on the hunt for vintage clothing or fancy trying out some obscure street food stands, you can’t beat the old reliable: Brick Lane. The street market truly comes alive on Sundays, but we’ve found that the area is also a lot of fun on weekdays when there’s more space to explore the indoor shops.

Barbican Centre

20 minutes on foot or 15 minutes by car

There’s never a dull moment at the Barbican. Its main attraction is its stunning concert hall, which doubles up as a theatre and gives host to some of the most prominent actors in the country. But if you explore the place further you can also find a beautiful lakeside terrace as well as an immaculately maintained botanical conservatory.

Whether you’re visiting London for business, leisure or both, the Rosebery Aparthotel is the ideal place to stay. True to our signature blend of style, comfort and convenience, we offer an authentic home-from-home experience, complete with fully private kitchens, bathrooms and living areas.
